My Art Journey

Art is an essential part of who I am. I have known this for as long as I can remember.
In 1983, I moved to Torrejon de Ardoz. Here I met a Bolivian artist that took me as his apprentice and trained me. He taught me the foundational techniques in watercoluor. Later on, I continued my journey with Maria Pilar Sanchiz from Cordoba.
I met her in Seville where I now lived. She was studying at the Art School of Bellas Artes.
From her I learned the basics in art like charcoal drawings of still life, and she also taught me to master the art of oil painting.
In 1993 I moved back to Sweden where I got further training.

When I paint I want to experiment with different techniques and media.
I use Oil, acrylic paint or watercolour, depending on what I am inspired to create.
Often I find inspiration from nature. In some watercoluor paintings, I paint the reality as I see it.
Many times in my oil and acrylic art I mix realistic images with abstract pictures.
Light plays an important role in my paintings.

I keep my heart open, so what I paint will also reflect something transcendet that I know is there behind the reality we can see.

When you are looking into the depth of the patterns and color palettes of my paintings, I hope you will be touched.

I had the chance to present my work in Ljungskile and some close by places in Sweden for many years and now I am stepping outside my comfort zone and have my work online.

I am looking forward to meet with you!
